Hi Kawal, Mac fuse makes it possible to mount ftp sites read write. Mac fusion merges 2 things, namely the mac finder, and a remote ftp site. Imagine you have an account on an ftp server. What you can do already, is connect to the ftp server using finder, and then browse and download stuff from it. This means that if you want to access an ftp server, even if you have a dedicated username and password for it, you don't need an ftp client program such as transmit. You can simply use the finder if you want. However, what you currently cannot do, is upload files to the server from within finder. So, having the server files in front of you, looking like any other finder window, you currently cannot command v new stuff into this window, hoping it will be uploaded. This is because finder mounts an ftp server as read only. Using mac fusion, which is a program you can google and install, you can do just that, thereby extending the finder's capabilities. I asked a solution for ftp sites not being read write, and Chris Blouche came up with the mac fusion solution. We both tried it, because it was a very interesting idea, but if I remember well, we both fell on our noses. I have Lion, and both mac fuse as well as mac fusion have not been updated for Lion as far as I am aware now. Now is september 2011. At least I'm sure of mac fusion not having been updated.
