This is not too helpful, but I find your problem very odd. From my experience, vo will read the numbers you have to enter because they appear in an alert, and pairing is never lost unless you remove it manually. I saw a keyboard un-pair itself from my sister's iPad once, but I think that was because she changed the keyboar's batteries. Does this problem happen all the time, or do you maybe put the phone in airplane mode a lot? That shouldn't matter, but it is all I can think of. Of course, it could be the keyboard, but I doubt that as it is designed for the iPhone, and the keyboard model should not be able to affect vo's ability to announce the pairing code.
