Nothing is wrong with Alex, I like it very much too.
It's a matter of taste I guess.

I think I prefer Eloquence because it sounds like a pure generated voice with 
good inflections for different intonations. I never got tired of listening to 
Roco first, and then Read. (I might be misspelling their voice names though…)

For some reason, I have never been compelled to read large chunks of texts with 
any built in Mac OS voices… I love the user experience with Alex, but get 
quickly tired when it comes to listening to documents.

Please, for those who are interested in having a little skin in the game, send 
me an email directly off list. If licensing is affordable for the end user, , I 
would be happy to consider a small compensation plan to pay back the 
"investors", but I think the project should remain non-profit. If your opinion 
says otherwise though, we can reconsider it all for sure.

Moderators, I apologize if this may be drifting away from the original purpose 
of the list. Let me know and I can move this elsewhere. I do not intend to 
conduct the management of the project through the list, obviously. :)
