Chrome is on a roughly 6-week release cycle so it doesn't take long to
get old. It should prompt you to update. Most people will be on the
"Stable" releases whcih currently is 16.0.912.75. If you're a little
more daring you can jump to the preview beta release (17.0.963) or the
even more bleeding edge developer build (18.0.1003). If you want the
very latest there is also the nightly build called "Canary" which is
like the webkit nightly. All the latest new features and all the latest
new bugs. Canary and regular Chrome can co-exist on the same machine.

William,
Wow, it turns out that I was an 11.0.x build. Discovering that I was so far
back encouraged me to update to the latest dev build. This version of Chrome is
so much faster with Voiceover than I remember, and the quirks I previously saw
seem to be gone. Thank you very much for the suggestion. I think this may
indeed be a good alternative to Safari. now if only I could find an extension
to change my user agent for m.facebook.com I'd be a happy camper.

Hello Rose and others,
I have version 16.0.912.75. I have no idea at all if this is the most recent
version but I am pretty shore that this is the development version.
But, anyway, tips, suggestions, questions... are welcome.
Kind regards,

Hi William,
What version of Chrome are you running? I have an older dev build here which
still had some quirks, but things must have improved since then. Either way,
you've encouraged me to try out the newest dev build.

Hello,
Perhaps this is not new but I have discovered that google chrome is fully
accessible , at the first look including the vo-navigation on websites.
I am new to that browser and I was wondering if there are
interesting/accessible extensions or other things to know to make the browsing
experience on the mac more fun.
Also , if there are other/better browsers for us on the mac, it would be nice
to hear of it, perhaps a version of firefox?
Kind regards and thx for all ideas,
William
