Not to mention which, if it's music you are editing, there's the tiny fraction 
of time when you anticipate the down beat of a measure; and, in anticipation of 
this, you might perhaps press the M key too early or late.  That's one thing I 
do love about Amadeus Pro.  You can slow down the playback speed, and, get the 
insertion point spot on exactly where you need it to be then use the p key to 
drop the marker on the spot.  That's where being able to use the space bar to 
pause playback and manually move the insertion point comes in to play…no pun 
intended.  IN fact, that's one of the advantages of being able to move the 
insertion point seperately.  Having the layback paused by the use of the space 
bar and then resume exactly where you were playing before saves a tremendous 
ammount both of time and trouble.  At first, I must admit, a seperatley movable 
insertion point that did not trail the playback kind of through me; but, once I 
got used to how it worked, It's nothing at all now.  Frankly, I don't see the 
justfication in paying $30.00 for an editing app which fails to offer the 
flexibility I require.
