Hmm, i haven't had this problem, in fact i hear alerts and VO messages at the same time many times. The only time i have an issue with this is when i use the Realspeak voices that seem to have some kind of conflict with the Alex voice or the other apple and possibly even Infovox voices. Are you using SL? /Krister
