Sorry, Dean, I didn't see your original message before I sent mine. I have had this happen, too, but before I knew about the keyboard command I was able to get it to work with the trackpad by doing it again. I found that my fingers had to be curved. I agree that the trackpad on the Mac doesn't respond like it does on the iPhone. I don't have the same problem on the iPhone.
