I think part of the problem is these silly smartphones without physical keyboards. That's what I was using today when I hit the letter y instead of the letter t. Android doesn't even have the decency to tell you that you've misspelled a word. On top of that, going back to edit is like looking for a needle in a haystack. It's why I promptly corrected myself when Ricardo asked me to repeat what I'd written. I don't know if IOS handles this any better, as my IPad is in the shop, but I'd venture a bet it does. Another problem is speech to text, which I've heard a lot of visually impaired users saying they like to use. Even if using Zoom only in Mac OS, you get a nice red line if you type something misspelled. So, I don't know, on my part, I don't judge too critically when I see typing errors. Your milage may very.
