Guys, I finally got it working. While Daisy Worm was a no go for this, InDaisy seems to work like a champ. It took a minute to get the file to open. This appears to be because I didn't hold my finger down on the file long enough initially. Whatever the case, I now have a perfectly working copy of a music notation reference book on my iPhone for future use.
