It goes by addresses you tag in your address book. So I have a 'Home' address and can set up a geofence to go off when I arrive there.

That's interesting. How would that work if you were not at the location, could
you do it if you were not?

One nice feature of Reminders that people aren't always familiar with is the
geofence trigger. You can not only set a reminder to ping you on a certain date
or time but you can also trigger it when you leave a location or arrive at a
location. I was in a brainstorming session for a new accessible iPhone GPS app
with a company and a couple people were asking for this until I piped up and
pointed out that it already existed.

Could you kind of give me an idea of how to use it better.

I try to change the dates of the reminders but that seems like a big hassle and
I sure could use some help.

Also, I think you were the one that was trying to teach me about the message
headers. I am using the command O to open messages now and if you could be so
kind, I could use a baby step tutorial on how to reply to a specific sender and
not the list again. I know you tried before but could you give me another
chance?

Thanks for your patience and if you don't want to go through it again I totally
understand.

Also, could you tell me if my signature is being sent in this message.

If not could you tell me how to get it started too?

Thanks again.

The reminder app is more for "to-do" sorts of tasks. The calendar is more for
specific events at specific dates and times. There's kind of a crossover, as I use one or
the other sometimes, depending on the task or event.

I just updated my 3gs to IOS 5.1 and found the reminder app on the phone. What
is the difference between that and the calendar and what is the easiest way to
use that app as I found it difficult to use.

Thanks for all your help.

I use to have a braille connect 12 but it was hard on my hands. I heard about
your recent set up as a friend of yours and mine told me!

Hi Kawal. I also have a Eurobraille Esys but with 12 cells. It's really good,
but mine has been a bit unreliable and I've had to send it back 3 times for
updating firmware and repairs.
Also the note-taking functions are very basic and the diary crashes every so
often, so I have to keep resetting it. My favorite setup at the moment is the
I-phone with a Braille connect 12 and Rites Keyboard stuck over the top of the
connect 12 with velcro. It's a really compact setup with qwerty input and
braille output. The other good thing about the Braille connect is that it has a
standby mode and wakes up whenever the iPhone comes on so you can see the
caller id even when the speech is turned off. They used to do a 24 cell version
of the Braille connect too, but Human-ware never sold any in this country (UK),
which is a real shame in my opinion.

Hello Thuy.

I know what the product is now and have cancelled the order. I already have a
Euro braille 40 and may be one day I want a 24 cell (in my dreams)!

Thanks for replying.

Hi Kawal. Isn't this Braille input only? I have the Braille pen 12, which has
the display and Braille keyboard, but that's just under 1K. It has really nice
Braille dots and good keyboard, but no cursor routing, which makes it a bit of
a pain editing texts and activating apps. Also, the command to wake it up is
space with K, which overrides the keyboard help command. Hope this helps?

Hello.

I have just purchased the Slim Braille Pen, priced at £295 the cheapest
refreshable braille I have seen so far although I do have a Euro braille 40
which I use as well.

Just wish to know if anyone has used this either their mac or I phone?

All experiences are welcome.

Kawal.
