Hello everyone,

I have several friends who use iPhones, and I would prefer to send them
iMessages as opposed to text messages, for which I pay.

The problem I am having is that for some reason, I am not able to send them
iMessages. I have gone into the Contacts app, as well as the Messaging app,
but I can't find a place where I can specifically pick iMessage as opposed to
"Text Message." I must have changed something in settings somewhere, because
this used to work. I am still in the States and am using Wi-Fi only, with
Airplane Mode turned on. Since I'm not having problems with FaceTime, I have
reason to believe that the settings pertaining to Wi-Fi and Airplane Mode are
correct.

Any thoughts?

Thanks in advanced and best regards,

Mike
