hello, I use Paulina, the Spanish voice, which they also claimed had speech improvements, and I haven't noticed any difference one way or the other. I don't know of a way to downgrade the voice to get the old version back. YOu might try contacting the company that actually manufactures the voices, or writing to Apple.
