Hi Chris. I don't know if we're talking about the same thing. Maybe, but maybe not. I'm talking about the new one in Mountain Lion where you can tell your computer to update itself when you're not using it. I'll try what you said and see what happens. when I heard about this, I heard that in a MacBook Pro it would awake itself to do this.
