Well, I just went back through, and, it is indeed using my apple ID, but, it's 
not going to the iPhone, just the Mac.  I        did verify everything again 
though.
Does messages have to be opened to make this work?  I was able to get a message 
on the Mac even though it was closed. Anyway, when this guy answers, I will 
know for sure.
