Hi all, Long time no speak. I have a couple of questions regarding YoruFukurou and booting from an external DVD drive.
1. Are there any shortcuts to follow or unfollow users in YoruFukurou? Unless I'm thinking of a different application, I should be able to use Command-Option-O to follow and Command-Option-U to unfollow, but those don't seem to do anything. Also, is there a way to follow or unfollow a user by entering a user ID? 2. I have an external USB DVD drive. It's an LG HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GSA-E10L. I wanted to boot from a Windows install disk, but I keep getting a black screen with a flashing cursor. I have tried disks for Windows XP Professional, Windows Vista Ultimate and Windows 7 Ultimate, and the same happens with each of them. Is the Mac unable to boot from certain drives? I've used this DVD drive on other computers and it works just fine. I can't use my Mac's internal drive because it keeps ejecting disks, so I can't verify that the DVD's I'm trying to use will work natively. I'm including the details from System Information below incase it'll be of any help: HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GSA-E10L: Firmware Revision: LE05 Interconnect: USB Burn Support: Yes (Generic Drive Support) Profile Path: None Cache: 2048 KB Reads DVD: Yes CD-Write: -R, -RW DVD-Write: -R, -R DL, -RAM, -RW, +R, +R DL, +RW Write Strategies: CD-TAO, CD-SAO, CD-Raw, DVD-DAO Media: To show the available burn speeds, insert a disc and choose File > Refresh Information Thanks in advance for any feedback.
