Hi, Brian, In Gmail, you can first set up labels and then set up filters to allow messages to be sorted by these labels. However, this requires a lot of website navigation. You can do this from any computer using any platform.
In Mac Mail, you would first create new mailboxes from the mailboxes menu. Then, in Mail Preferences, which can be reached from the Mail Menu inside the app, or by pressing command-comma, you would go to the rules button and set up message rules this way.
