When you open Ultralingua, you have your toolbar first with which you can interact, and in there you will find to the far right your search field. This is where you type your search item, and you press enter to activate search.
To the right of the toolbar, there's a table of various dictionary functions. I mostly use the dictionary function, second from the top., so I have it set to that. But theres also conjugation, and some more which I am not familiar with. In the previous versions of Ultralingua you would interact with the table to choose the function you wish. I notice in this latest upgrade that every time I choose a new function, I am thrown back into the search field, and I have to come out of the toolbar to check which functions is selected. This is potentially a bug and I will be reporting it to Ultralingua. To the right of the table, you have a popup button where you choose the dictionary which you wish to be active. THen to the right a reverse dictionary direction button, i.e. English-French or french English, and then to the right of that you have an unlabelled button which is actually "add entry" button. You can label it with Vo+/. Then you have html section where your results appear. The way I work with the dictionary is like this: command+f will take me straight to search box. Hit enter after typing your entry. Stop interacting with the toolbar and use fn+vo+right arrow to quickly move to the rightmost edge of the screen, then only one or two presses of vo+left arrow to land on html section, Interact to read your results with vo+arrow keys.
