Hi,

The MacOS deals with Finder items differently than Windows and thus the Cut has 
never been available within the Finder.  If you are wishing to "Move" an item 
from one place to another, simply "Copy" with cmd-c and "Move" it with 
cmd-option-v.  Up until Lion, this option was not available to us, only 
dragging and dropping moved items from one location to another.  Now, as VO 
Drag and Drop was not always reliable, VO users, for the most part, did not 
have this functionality.  Probably this history lesson is more info than you 
needed but the School Teacher is coming out in me I guess.
