Hi, It sounds like it could be a hardware issue within the iPad. If you've done the reset with the Home and Lock buttons with no positive results, then it appears to me that the charging unit or some portion of the logic board for this component is experiencing a fault. If you could let it totally drain then sit for a couple of hours it may clear any software problems but if it is a hardware issue, then it will simply never recharge.
