Hi, It is not an iOS update, it is an update to the FaceBook app within the iOS platform. If the badge is not appearing on your App Store icon, open the App Store on the iDevice and select the Updates tab in the bottom right. If it is still not showing up, it may be related to the Store you're related with, that is, it may be out in the US Store, the Canada Store, but not yet in the UK or Australian Store. The FaceBook update should appear soon everywhere.
