Thank you so very much for this suggestion. It is working, and yes,
that is a strange thing to do, but hey, it works. I set my year to
2014, went to the app sotore, did get an error message that said the
app store couldn't create a secure connection and to check my time and
date. Went back and switched the date back to automatic and today,
went back to the app store, and now updates is working fine and
updating 81 apps. I don't use my Ipad that much as it is old, and use
my Iphone 4s most of the time, but do like to keep things current.
