Which MacBook Pro do you have and did you have to adjust anything in System Preferences > Sound. On my late 2011 MacBook Pro, it doesn't appear that the volume and play/pause work but I only tried them with my computer talking and not with an audio file playing. Would this make a difference? -- Cheryl
