Hi All, I am using ABBYY Fine Reader Express to convert a number of PDF documents to text files, which I will be reading with my Mac as well as my work PC. I am finding, however, that the RTF files I scan end up containing objects, such as text columns, which Windows screen readers do not always seem to handle smoothly. Is there a way to set Fine Reader to convert to a different formatting, or would I be better off figuring out how to read through these text columns with JAWS? I've found that JAWS tends to skip over entire sections of text, presumably those which are in a different column within the section where my cursor is focused. Also, does anyone know why Fine Reader shows duplicate buttons in the screen which asks the user to specify the destination file type? Thanks in advance!
