Hello Teresa, I had to ask my husband about this one. You can either place one finger on the trackpad where the mouse is, press down and hold it down while sliding your finger to the drop destination and releasing it, or you can "lock" the trackpad by doing a one-finger double tap on the item and sliding your finger to the destination, then doing a one-finger single tap to release it. This second method requires that you've configured the trackpad appropriately in System Preferences.
I haven't tried this myself! Cheers, Anne On 17 Oct 2012, at 20:13, Teresa Cochran <[email protected]> wrote: > Hi, Anne, > > Thanks for this.
