Hi Phil. I tell the processor to use 2 cores and 2.0 gb of ram. I am using a macbook pro 13 2012 model. I am upgrading my ram tomorrow to 8 gb. one thing that i have noticed makes a difference is using vmware without voiceover running. Hope that can help at all.
