Hi Phil.
I tell the processor to use 2 cores and 2.0 gb of ram.
I am using a macbook pro 13 2012 model.
I am upgrading my ram tomorrow to 8 gb.
one thing that i have noticed makes a difference is using vmware
without voiceover running.
Hope that can help at all.

I installed VMWare fusion5 trial version the other day and imported
my bootcamp partition. I'm wondering if there are common settings for
optimum performance that I should set in VMWare? I have'nt played
with it much, and frankly, I wasn't all that impressed with the
performance. But, I figure that settings will make a big difference
in the way windows performs in VMWare.
Any basic "must have" settings for optimum performance in VMWare
that I should try?
