Hi all,
My mac recently started restarting with no warning. It has done this three or
four times now, and I don't know why. The only clue is something about a kernel
trap in the report, but that does not mean much to me. The only thing I have
changed recently is installing a MenuTab update a few days ago. Google
mentioned something about looking at startup items and somehow being able to
spot ML incompatibilities that way, but how would I do this? It also suggested
repairing permissions, but I don't know how to do that either. Any help, or
other suggestions to fix the problem, would be greatly appreciated. Thankfully,
the mac is able to restore me to where I was, even partially restoring an email
I was writing at one point, so it isn't as bad as when Windows decides to
restart. Still, this isn't updates-related like it would be on Windows, and I'm
praying there is no serious hardware problem as I don't have Apple Care, nor do
I have the money to pay for repairs or a new machine. If anyone wants to donate
to the Alex Wants a Macbook fund, email me off-list. <smile>

Have a great day,
Alex (msg sent from Mac Mini)
