Hello Teresa,

It looks as though you'll be able to read the books in Nook format with Adobe 
Digital Editions on your Mac. I don't know about a reader for an IOS device as 
I don't use this format. I buy my ebooks from Kobo and read them either on my 
iPhone with the Kobo by FNAC app (I used to use the Kobo app but it was 
replaced in the French iTunes store with Kobo by FNAC), or on my Mac with Adobe 
Digital Editions.
