No, it really doesn't have to be that complicated. First of all, read the help tags for your buttons and label them. Secondly, there is no need to put the url in unless you don't want to do a search. Just search and start playing. when you find the one you want to download, do vo-shift-m on the player menu button (I don't remember whether or not I had to label it but you can find out what it is using the help tags. In the menu will be a download option with options for your download format.
