I don't know about Snow Leopard since I started my Mac journey at the Lion part 
of the road. I'm sure google has plenty to say on the subject, however. As for 
music, iCloud wil not handle that at all unless you pay for the iTunes Match 
service. Without that, you are left with using iTunes to sync with all your iOS 
devices, which isn't too bad once you get things set up to owrk over wifi.
