The activity I had did not change voices at all, it just enabled quicknav for 
certain apps. Even so, there was quite a lag, enough that I got tired of 
dealing with it and never used activities again. It's easy to say "don't let 
the lag stop you", but when you're used to quick operation and then have to 
wait every time you switch into or out of apps, it quickly gets to be 
frustrating.
