Hi, guys, Does anyone know why Skype does not make the typing sound when someone is writing a message like it did in Windows? I have that box checked in the preferences, but I have never once heard a typing sound as someone is writing me, and wondered if there was a way to get that back? I would prefer to have Skype or VoiceOver automatically announce when a contact comes online, goes offline, writes me, etc. but I have never had too much success with Growl.
I have been trying to figure out a way to simplify getting from the table with home, contacts, etc. over to the contacts list, etc. because I want to help my friend use Skype, but he needs things to be very simply. Sorry, Im mixing my question about Skype in with my thoughts about how I could make it easier to get around, which Im still not sure about. Anyway, guys, thanks for any help.
