Hi Harry. One thing that helped me with Skype is vo+j. It would jump me between the two tables, one on the left hand of the screen with your main portions of Skype. Contacts, Skype home, history, and your recent calls. I don't know anything about the typing notifications. I wonder if somebody know's how to write a voiceover script to announce anything.
