no problem, could you explain the process of doing a clean install of ML?
If I'm not mistaken, it would involve, booting into the recovery partition,
and from there I'm lost. I'd like to say reformat the drive, but wouldn't
that erase the recovery partition itself? Then once reformatted, reinstall
ML from the recovery partition options.
Walk me through it if you would.

Hi all,
so i did a clean install of mountain lion today and then i tried
loading windows 7 and what do you know, it actually worked.

That is one method and the bootcamp assistant utility has instructions

doing so. Personally, I put the iso image and the drivers on seperate

and installed that way. And, I think the method you want doesn't work on
all
mac models. If it doesn't show up as an option in your BC assistant, then
it
doesn't work on the Mac model you have. In which case, burn the image and
drivers to seperate disks and go that route.

drive as well as putting the boot camp drivers on this flash drive?

camp soon with sighted assistance.

where did you get the drivers? I got mine from the bootcamp utility,

made a disk with the drivers before actually installing windows. They
worked fine.

THanks.
This is very weird.
I seam to be the only one with the issues.
I can give the exact error it gives me.
It says, bootcamp encountered errors before it could install.
Has anybody seen this before?

There was an issue with the bootcamp drivers a year or two ago where
you would get an error but that was a few versions back I believe.

That's interesting. My windows 7 came with two different discs: one

Actually, it works like a champ. I installed win7 64 bit in a
bootcamp

used a

Maybe the instructions didn't account for the 32 vs 64 bit thing. I
know
that the DVD has both versions on it and you have to choose one you
want
to install - at least I think so.

Hi all.
So, i followed Chris's instructions for installing windows under
bootcamp. It worked wonderfully.
I have a question, does windows 7 or 8 not work under 64 bit?
I cant get it to work at all.
Any help would be appreciated, does anybody run windows 64 bit on
the
list.
