There's no need honestly to deauthorize just for a clean reinstall of an OS, unless you are planning to change computers, like from Mac to Windows or Windows to Mac, or maybe if you're changing computer names. As long as the computer is the same computer you're reinstalling an OS to, or if the computer name is the same, deauthorizing and reauthorizing won't make much difference.
