Go to settings, computers. It will ask you to turn on home sharing, so make
sure that's done in iTunes first. Then just enter the apple ID and password
on the apple tv itself, and bam, you're done.

Subject: apple TV and iTunes?

Okay, 1 of the reasons I shied away from apple TV before because I was told
that everything had to go through iTunes. That you couldn't stream content
from NAS servers. So how do I point my apple TV to my iTunes library? I've
spent the last 2 days importing everything media in to iTunes, in
anticipation of my apple TV arrival, and want to make sure I know how to set
this thing up. Thanks.
