Hi,

not really.

When you put the region on its own track, assuming each region is 1 song on the 
tape, just solo the track before exporting.  Only the length of that track, 
containing that region/ song will be used.  I would just make sure when I put 
the region on its on track that I paste it at time 0.  Right at the beginning 
of the project.
