I'm not sure about braille displays but other devices such as USB sound
input or license dongles have to be paired with either the virtual
machine or OSX. I have a Jaws USB license key and when I plug that into
my Mac with vmware running it prompts me which OS should get to use it.
I'm guessing the same will happen with the braille device.
