Hi, You can only use your braille device on one machine at a time. The machines take over their bits of hardware. So, for example, if your windows virtual machine has control of your apple usb bluetooth adapter, then no devices can use the bluetooth under OSX.
You can get around this limitation with some devices, but not with usb or bluetooth braille displays.
