That brings up a good question. I tried Audacity on windows and on hearing it
was now more VO friendly on mac, just installed it the other day. I'm having
the same issue with it on Mac as I did on Windows though.

My interface is a Saffire Pro14 and although I can find the device in Audacity,
I for the life of me can't find where to select which input/inputs. I need to
be able to select in1 and or 2 for my mike and instrument in's and until I can
work this out, I can't use it at all.

If anyone has any ideas, I would appreciate it.
