Are you sure you don't have a system voice turned on or you haven't selected another voice in verbosity settings in the VO Utility? I did that a long time ago and discovered it when I started hearing a Scottish voice every once in a while in background. I must have been messing with verbosity at some point and somehow set it for one of the options. Take a look in there again if you happened to be exploring in the VO Utility.
