I bought an SSD drive from Crucial and saved about $200 from what it would 
have cost for 512 GB configured in the Mini.  I already had a 500 GB SATI 
drive, and you can buy a kit for installing the second drive from ifixit.com 
for about $69.  I had a sighted friend do the work, as I was not going to try 
anything that deep.  However, there is a nice video on youtube that walks one 
through the process.
