That depends on what you want it for. The iPhone5 supports the phone things, 
like messaging and phone calls, and is pocket-sized. The iPad Mini is larger, 
and cannot do phone calls or texts, plus rumor has it that a new one will be 
out pretty soon. So, if it is a phone you want, go with the iPhone, else wait a 
month or two and see what the next-generation Mini looks like.
