Hi Sarah Esther, as usual, has given wonderful information to help you get started. But I would like to say that, having learned that several screen readers, I have always found it easier to learn one in conjunction with other programs. In this case, text edit and finder would be good choices so that you can see how they work together with a word processor and file organization. Then you can work with the mail program a little and send us some emails. That way, you can try to accomplish some things in those programs, and see how everything fits altogether. Then, when you want to do something, you can ask us if you get stuck. Regards
