Frankly, I don't know I'd totally get rid of the option to read caller ID, however, I do wonder how hard it would be to make it where VO doesn't automatically read. In other words, have it do like now where it pops up, yes, but you would have to intentionally flick to it to read the thing. Also remember that if you're that terribly concerned, you can set custom ringers for different callers. Again, it still would read caller ID, so technically, I guess that doesn't really solve the issue, but it is somewhat a work-around.
