Hi, thats the thing, you can't. So long as automation is not accessible in Voiceover, I find that to add effects to certain parts, I need to put that part on its on track, and then add the effect. It makes for a messy arrange layout but, it gets the job done. If anyone has been able to find another work around to this this, I would be thrilled. If any garageband user could take a few minutes of their time and write accessibility @apple.com and explain why we need automation to be accessible with Voiceover, maybe they will add this in a later version of Garageband.
