So you can set both keys?
OK, I need to look at that screen again more closely then apparently, as I
was under the impression that you only could do one or the other, but not
both.

There are some uses as have been mentioned but at least in my case they are
so rare that I have keyboard commander set for both option keys and if I
require the option key either pass through, turn off commander hotkey or VO
f8 command 8 and set it to left option temporarily.
This suits me but won't be suitable for some people as we all have different
ways of doing things.
