  Hi Anita
I had to get my extra memory separate. Admittedly, I did this about a year
after I had my map, but I upgraded my MacBook Pro so that I had 8 GB. I found
that my cat numbers program works better now That I did that. I was told that
the only time Apple puts in the memory is if you buy your computer on line and
you get it at the same time. I had to go to Micro Center and have the memory
installed. I also bought a Variz well.
  Regards,
  Gigi

    Hi List,
I think someone mentioned that the CD slot is being faced out, right?
Why is this? Isn't it faster than having to connect a CD drive? I bought a
drive, instead of going with a slot. Not sure if I did the right thing or not.
Is upgradeable memory a standard option, or does it need to be a separate
purchase?
        Thanks,
        Anita
