Hello Adrienne, Have you thought of trying the Romanian voice? As far as I know, it's the nearest modern language to Latin. Also, when it comes to Latin, there are different schools of thought about pronunciation, so it could be difficult to find a voice that sounds right to you.
This is the kind of situation when being able to use Braille is a huge advantage.
