Thanks for the suggestions. I hadn't thought about Romanian. Silly me and yes, 
if I could read braille, that would be the answer, but I have tried and failed 
to learn it on many occasions and now my fingers can't even begin to feel it 
properly.

And I think it's a shame more people don't learn Latin. It's a very economical 
language, especially when it's that Cicero chap writing it.

I did consider asking if anyone knew a voice which could speak Latin without 
pronouncing v as w and c as ch, but I thought that might be a bit picky.
